I have decided to start doing more beauty posts! I wanted to start out with a few of my beauty picks. I own a few of the products listed above and plan to try out the rest of them out! I want to know what some of your favorite beauty products are. I am a pretty basic girl, so all of this color is new and exciting to me. I want to jump outside of my comfort zone this spring!

1. Face: I love a clean face. I like to start with a mineral powder or bronzer as my base. My absolute favorite mineral powder is by MAC Cosmetics. Mineral powder and bronzer give my skin a nice shimmer and light coverage. I love to add light pink or deep wine blush to my cheeks. I stray away from dark pink and red blushes. I don't like the way they look on my skin tone. To top off my everyday look, I add golden eye shadow underneath my eyes to make them pop in pictures!
2. Eyes: I have to wear mascara EVERYDAY! I love the way that it dramatizes my lashes. I am obsessed with Maybelline Colossal Mascara! It does wonders for my long lashes. I am a fan of bronze and golden eye shadow, so I want to try some other colors on my eyes this season. I recently had a photo shoot and the mua (makeup artist) put blue eye shadow underneath my eyes and it made them POP like crazy. I will be trying that out this season! Do you have any eye shadow tips?
Confession: I have failed to master the cat eye! Any pointers?
3. Nails: I love, love nail polish! I like to do designs when I can. This summer I plan on really experimenting with my toe nail polishes. Sandal season is quickly approaching and I am super excited about! I don't like to splurge on nail polish though, so what are your favorite nail polish brands? I need to know where to get quality polish at an affordable price.
4. Lips: If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that I am strictly a pink lipstick girl with an occasional love affair with red lipstick. I stick to pink lipstick, everyday! I hate lipgloss because it gets sticky. I wear lipstick or chubby sticks everyday. I love the long stay and matte of lipstick. This spring I want to try out some purple and nude lipsticks. Any suggestions?
