Stylist: Autumn Orphey

Autumn’s experiences not only make her the go-to person for family and friends desiring to know the latest fashion tips, but also drove her to the next level of her career; developing her company & expanding her brand as a prominent fashion stylist.  Her broad retail knowledge, combined with a sharp sense of style, greatly influences her ability to fuse high fashion and innovative style.  More than a keen eye for fashion, Autumn has built a foundation within the industry.  She has dedicated years of hard work styling clients and coordinating fashion shows & photo shoots.  She has been privileged to explore fashion districts in Los Angeles, New York, & abroad.

Autumn holds a MBA, Bachelor Degree in International Business & Marketing, and a Certificate in Fashion Design & Merchandising.

What is the most influential part of my work?
A great designer designs great pieces; as a fashion stylist it's my job to edit what's there.  The most fulfilling part of my work is enhancing, empowering, & inspiring my clients from the inside out, through fashion!

What are you doing in your community?
I serve with Women of Imagery, non-profit organization, as an event coordinator/creative director for the Night of Fashion, fashion show.  I am an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (KCMO Alumnae Chapter).

Do you have any awesome career advice to share?
"Do what you love & you'll never work a day in your life."  Choose a career that you're passionate about & become an expert in that field.  Reading, studying, & internships are imperative to advance in your choice field.

Here is a sample of Autumn's work. Check out more on her site here.

My style philosophy: Fashion is about individual & personal style. It's not about the label or trend, but rather the person wearing it!
